Week 4: Drucilla’s Blog

The witch hysteria is finally over! Gabe and I made up and we are friends again. In the future I hope to go and see him at Harvard College or wherever he may be. I hope that we continue to write to each other and keep in contact. Also I hope that the witch hysteria or any other hysteria like this never happens again. It was a sad part of my life, and it will never be forgotten by me or the people of Salem. Last thing is that I hope that I do not encounter the Putnams again. They started out nice, but as I got to know them I figured out that was just a cover.

Week 3: Drucilla’s Blog

A witch hysteria has broken out into Salem. They have now accused many innocent people and are still going. I have noticed that one girl will start to cry out and then they all follow, I suspect that the girls just want attention. Now the whole town has gone crazy! Say that someone’s wood pile falls down, that person accuses the closest person to them. People just copy each other, one after another! Is it out of fear that they will be the next one accused? Because they can’ t actually believe this nonsense! I hope that this will all end soon, its starting to drive me nuts.

Week 2: Ann Putnam’s Blog

This week Sarah Good came to our door again! Drucilla opened the door and gave half a loaf of bread and a hunk of cheese to that old hag. I was not pleased, but I let it slide. It interests me very much that Ann has had her palm read by that friend of hers. I do not usually tolerate any type of witch craft but this seems diffrent! I would like to see this Tituba to get my palm read.

Sadly I have had my babe, and she did not live. Thomas went out and buried her next to the others. The midwife says that she was born too early, she only lived for a moment. I suspect that Sarah Good has cursed me. I believe it has happened when I refuse to give her food.
